Costa Rica: Keeping Pace with the Action

Hiya Folks! It’s been a while since you heard from us. We’ve been quite busy again this week, but then that’s as much as you can expect as missionaries. It’s been a great experience; we always have something new to look forward to. Spending time with our guests is a big priority for us. So we often spent our lunches in the company of friends. On Tuesday March 5, we went with our guest Liam to a butterfly garden on campus. There we were able to enjoy some of the wonders of nature as well as spend time getting to know our new friend better.

While interacting with guests takes up much of our time, it’s also one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling things that we do. Building relationships with those around us is of utmost important, and not just for guests to CARP, but also other missionaries, local church members and youth, our own missionary team, and ultimately with God too. This is our time to become the best children of God we can be, and at the same time we want to help others to do the same. It takes a lot of investment, and we re growing a lot through the process.

We also had several different events on the weekend. One was a celebration of marriage and blessings, and another was a sort of special exciting Sunday service they do at the Federation center every month. It’s kind of an update on where everything is at in Costa Rica as far as our youth activities and events as well as an overview of everything that’s happening abroad. We always like to help out with that with media and songs.

There’s always more exciting things to come, so stay tuned!
